The challenging Kanchenjunga trek was opened in 1988 for trekkers and requires the special permit from the government of Nepal. This trekking commences with the scenic flight from the Kathmandu to Sukhetar via Biratnagar. Though it can be approached from Darjaling of India, you get the full Himalayan experience of Kanchenjunga from Nepal’s side. In this trek, you pass through the subtropical forests, rhododendron forests, alpine meadows, river valleys hidden high valleys surrounded by glaciers and snowcapped mountains, villages of Rai and Limbus, etc. In this route, you enjoy the view of the majestic Himalayas and waterfalls, valleys, glaciers, etc. To have the full experience of nature and culture of the Kanchenjunga trek, the best time to go for trekking is autumn and the spring season.

We did Kanchenjunga trek with this company in September 2019 and everything went completely well. They are really professionals. We are planning to visit Nepal again and we will choose this company for sure. And by the way- Kanchenjunga trek is amazing!
