Probably one of the world’s most popular trekking areas, Everest region is rightfully called the land of Sherpas. Surrounded by the majestic Himalayas including world’s tallest mountain, Everest region is full of thrilling experience which is at a distance of thirty-five minutes scenic flight from Kathmandu. Among others, Everest Panorama Trek is one of the most preferred trekking trails by the trekkers as it is the short trekking route in this region. Everest Panorama trek is not limited to viewing majestic mountains and breathtaking scenarios, it also provides you with the opportunity to witness and live the Sherpa culture closely and enjoy their hospitality since the trekking route encompasses village trails.
Just like the Everest Base Camp, Everest Panorama Trek follows the same trail, however, the trek ends in Tengboche. The journey begins a day after you arrive in the city of the temple, Kathmandu. You will take a 35 minutes adventurous yet scenic flight to Lukla: you will be flying above the spectacular mountains accompanied by deep canyons (call it a bonus!). After you reach Lukla, your awaited short yet exciting trek starts. You along with the equipped crew member will head towards Phakding. The trail cascade to the Dudh Kosi river, where we will spend your night.Resuming our trek early in the morning, we will move towards Jorsalle where we can see the confluence of two raging rivers Dudhkoshi and Bhotekoshi. An hour of steep climb will take us to the trekker’s junction, Namche Bazaar. Since we need to acclimatize to a higher altitude before heading forward, we will stay here for two days. Situated on the lap of magnificent Himalayas, the place provides you with an opportunity to live the zestful culture, serene atmosphere and unparalleled hospitality of Sherpas. Here, we will organize a short trek to Khumjung village.
Continuing our journey, we will be trekking up to the Mongla Dada, a small village above the cloud. This village gives the panoramic view of the high Himalayas including Mount Everest. Chasing the cloud we will finally reach our final destination i.e Tengboche. You will get to learn the day to day life of monks and Sherpa culture at the Tengboche monastery.
Leaving Tengboche, we will return back to Namche then to Phakding and then to Lukla. The following day, you will return back to Kathmandu.
Best time to travel: Months from March to May, September to December.
Our representative will receive you and take you to the hotel where we will have a discussion about the trek and held a familiarization program.
You will take an early morning flight to Lukla. As soon as we land, trek will start. After walking for three hours, you will reach Phakding. You will resume trek to Namche after spending a night there.
After walking for six hours, crossing multiple suspension bridges and Bhotekoshi and Dudhkoshi, we will finally reach Namche Bazaar.
In the fourth and fifth day, we will spend time exploring the famous Sherpa town. The place always brim with tourists as well as local people as it has a number of restaurants, cafes, pubs, and souvenir and gear shops etc. Additionally, we will go for a short hike to Khumjung and Khunde. There, we will visit Sagarmatha National Park. We will walk up to Everest Hotel as it offers a stunning view of Mt. Everest. Spending few hours there, we will return back to our lodges and prepare for the next day. We will resume our trek after morning breakfast. It takes six hours to reach Tengboche. On the way, we may encounter local wildlife like pheasants, Himalayan Thar, etc. We will visit the monastery of Tengboche there and stay overnight.
After the breakfast, we will hike down to the Namche Bazar. We will hike through the forest, and can view back side of Lhotse and tip of Mount Everest.

Our family had an incredible time completing this once in a lifetime opportunity through Blue Lake Travels. The trek was well-paced, the experience diverse, and we found the guides incredibly responsive to our every need. Sonam and Lakpa went out of their way to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. They were kind, thoughtful and competent. We cannot thank them enough for all they did for us- and we wish them every success into the future.
