Make a journey to a short colorful venture into the Annapurna Region which is one of the bitten Eco tourism-based trekking destinations of the Annapurna Himalayan region is Mardi Himal Trek. Mardi Himal is located in the east of the Modi Khola beyond the valley from Hiunchuli. It is the name given to the feature of the long rising hill and its summit that form the south-westerly lower slope of Mt. Machhapuchhre, the famous triangular skyline that is seen from the Phewa Lake at Pokhara on the way of trekking trail, you can see traditional villages, incredible scenery, diversity of culture, spectacular views of the silvery mountains and tempting views of river and exotic valley. This trek offers superb Himalayan scenery including the Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, etc. This trek is designed to provide outstanding mountain profile and to venture into the forests and villages that have not felt the impact of tourism.

Mardi Himal trek is one of the exciting treks in Nepal with uncrowned terrains providing the golden opportunity to explore unbelievable spectacle, panoramic views of silvery mountains. Mardi Himal Trek begins from Hyangja 1070m which is just half hours’ drive from Pokhara. From there to Sano Dovan or Mardi Himal Base Camp 4100m then passes through Korchen 3680m to Pokhara. This trek is congested with the forest and wilderness in these mountains, while trekking, we mount through Hindu villages and initial oak and rhododendron forest to an elevated campsite that yields close up the dramatic landscape of sacred Mt. Machhapuchhre, Mardi Himal, etc. The people living here are mostly Gurung, influenced by the Buddhist religion, culture, and lifestyles. Mardi Himal trekking is one of the bitten Eco tourism-based trekking destinations in the Annapurna Himalayan region of Nepal. You don’t need any previous experience of high altitudes as every precaution will be taken to ensure gradual and thorough acclimatization during the trek to the mountain. Drive four hours from Hyangja to Pokhara and from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus which will end your journey.

The 11 days Mardi Himal trekking is designed to those people who have less time but still want to enjoy trekking in the least visited places. The best season to visit here is during autumn and spring i.e. March-May and October-December. You can further trek to Annapurna Base Camp, Ghorepani PoonHill Trek, Annapurna Sanctuary Trek, Jomsom Muktinath Trek, etc. as per your desire and convenient time.
