Dhaulagiri is the 7th highest mountain of the world which is situated towards North West of the Pokhara. Dhaulagiri trek is the challenging Trek around Mt. Dhaulagiri that rewards the trekkers with the fantastic view of the Dhaulagiri Mountain range. It also offers a panoramic view of the Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri, Thorung peak, etc. Dhaulagiri Trek is off the beaten trekking trail that provides the chance to experience the unparalleled and impressing natural scenery, the pristine culture of the ethnic and indigenous groups. In Dhaulagiri trek, you also cross the trek challenging two high passes – the French pass (5,240m.) and the Dhampus pass (5,250m.). The challenging off the beaten Dhaulagiri Trek begins with the scenic drive from the Pokhara to Beni. From Beni you start your trek and traverse through the cultivated terraced farm, mountain villages, forest, etc. you also cross the Italian Base Cam, high French, and Dhampus pass. While trekking you see the excellent panoramic view of the Mt. Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna, Thorung Peak as well as surrounding snow-cold mountains. The walking in the ferns and forests of oak and other deciduous trees and juniper adds further pleasure in this trek. You see various types of flora and fauna as well as wild animals and birds while trekking through the Forest. Dhaulagiri trek is a challenging trek that demands the strong physical fitness of the trekkers.
