Dhampus Sarangkot Trek is one of the best treks to relax and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them creates an ambiance of peace Dhampus Sarangkot Trek and magic around Pokhara valley.

The memorable sunrise view from Sarankot while will get a close-up view of Machhapuchhre Mountain and Pokhara Valley including Phewa Lake from the top of Naudanda hill and observe Gurung culture and ways of living in Dhampus.

Pokhara valley is covered with lush vegetation, clear shimmering lakes, swift-flowing rivers, and religious and ancient cultural heritage. Hiking in Dhampus Sarangkot lets you explore the beautiful range of Annapurna Himalaya range including Dhaulagiri and Manaslu.

Itinenary
Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Tribhuvan international airport, Kathmandu. You will be warmly welcomed by the representatives at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the hotel.
If you have leisure time, we can visit the tourist hot-spots in Kathmandu. You enjoy the meal and take rest in the evening. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2

Sightseeing in world heritage sites

A professional guide helps sightseeing in and around Kathmandu city. It's a great time to walk and explore the streets, local courtyards or durbar squares.
There are many UNESCO World Heritage Sites, some lies inside the city include Boudhanath Stupa (the largest Buddhist shrines in the world), Pashupatinath (the holiest Hindu temple in the world), Durbar Squares (Palaces and fortresses of medieval Kings), along with other popular cultural attractions and awe-inspiring architecture.

Day 3

Drive/Fly to Pokhara (820 meters)

After breakfast, can drive or fly to Pokhara. Driving through the highway takes around 6 hours and the flight is just half an hour. The scenic route along the bank of Trishuli River and views during the driving are breathtaking. Once you reach Pokhara, you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Drive to Phadi and trek to Dhampus (1,750 m)

After breakfast, about half-hour drive to Phadi from Pokhara by private taxi or jeep. Then start the trek by ascending to the Dhampus village for 3 to 4 hrs. On the path, passing a beautiful rice terrace, settlement, and green forest. On the way to Dhampus, villages are mostly populated with Gurung, Brahmin, and other casts people and a spectacular view of the Himalayan ranges including Manaslu, Annapurna, and Machhapuchhare range. Overnight at lodge.

Day 5

Day05: Trekking to Sarangkot from Dhampus (1590 M) - 4hrs

After breakfast at the lodge, start to hike passes via rice paddies, awesome hills, landscapes and beautiful views of the Himalayan range. Sarangkot is one of the best sunrise and sunset point where you can see the glorious views of Annapurna (8,091m.), Dhaulagiri (8,167m.), Ganesh Himal (7,446m.), Manaslu (8,165m.), Machhapuchhre (6,993m.) and splendid views of Pokhara city. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Trek to Bank of Phewa lake 2/3hrs Trek & half days Pokhara city sightseeing - (820 m.)

Early in the morning, glorious views of the sunrise in Sarangkot with the beautiful Himalayas and trek down to Pokhara on the bank of Phewa Lake. Crossing Phewa Lake by boating and visit David fall, Mahendra cave, Bat cave, and International Mountain Museum and transfer to the hotel.

Day 7

Drive back to Kathmandu

After your breakfast, drive for 6 hours along the bank of the Trishuli river. And then transfer to the hotel for the refreshment. In the evening enjoying dinner and rest. Overnight at lodge.

Day 8

Departure at Airport- fly back

After having breakfast, accompany to the airport for the returning flight.
