Annapurna Sanctuary is situated on an altitude of more than 4000 meters. This was known to be a home of Lord Shiva and now is part of the Annapurna Conservation area project. Annapurna1 is the tenth highest mountain in the world. This trek takes you to the trails of forest covered with rhododendrons towards the panorama of Mountain and glaciers. This trek is one of the finest tea house treks with comfortable accommodations and meals. The hike to poon hill gives away the sublime beauty of nature with sparkling waterfalls, terraced fields, thatched-roof villages, and the beautiful emerald Modi Khola valley.
From here we move towards the Machhapuchre base camp from where vistas of the valley and Southern region of Annapurna from where Mountain peaks of Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna1, Annapurna3, Gangapurna, Fishtail are clearly visible for the delight of the trekkers. After some hours of ascendance, you will arrive at Annapurna Base Camp from where you will be familiar to this wonderland made of snowfields, glaciers for the ultimate trekking experience. Over the years the number of trekkers in Annapurna Sanctuary has risen significantly. The eco-system of this area is also an incentive for making this trek. Annapurna sanctuary trek is a moderate trek suitable for trekkers who can walk for 6-7 hours with a light backpack.
No technical skill is necessary but one has to be physically fit to carry this trek with regular exercise, jogging you are apt to qualify for this trek. The best seasons to travel are Autumn (September to November), Spring (months of March to May). Taking this trek in winter, you will not be among the crowd of trekkers. During peak seasons chances are that tea houses are full of limited accommodations. You come across people with different ethnic groups and enjoy their culture and customs to get familiar with traditional Nepal.

Arrival in Kathmandu
Our representative will receive you at airport and take you to the hotel.
Kathmandu sightseeing
We will go on sightseeing and trek preparation on this day. We will take you to UNESCO world heritage sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath for guided tour.
Fly to Pokhara and trek to Ulleri (2050 m/6725 ft): 30 min flight and 6 hours trek
From Pokhara we drive to Nayapul come to Tikhedhunga village and ascend the Ulleri hill. Overnight at Ulleri.
Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,750 m/ 9,020 ft): 4 - 5 hours trek
Reach Ghorepani village after trekking for 4-5 hours from Ulleri. Overnight at Ghorepani Village.
Ghorepani to Tadapani (2,700 m/8,860 ft) with a visit to Poon Hill (3,210 m/10,529 ft): 6 - 7 hours
From the fabulous Poon Hill we descend through forest trails before reaching Tadapani where we stay overnight.
Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170 m/7120 ft): 6 hours trek
We travel form Tadapni to the beautiful village of Chhomrong from where we can view massive Annapurna and stay overnight.
Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310 m/7578 ft): 4 - 5 hours
Climb uphill to Sinuwa and forest passes and descend to Bamboo.
Bamboo to Deurali (3230 m/10,595 ft): 3 - 4 hours
Moving towards Hinku cave and river passes before ascending Deurali. Beautiful landscapes, Mt Dhaulagiri are spell binding from Deurali staying here overnight.
Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m/13,545 ft) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700 m/12135 ft): 5- 6 hours
Enjoying stunning Himalayan views from this mini-theater at Machhapuchre base camp and ascending slowly to Annapurna base camp. Staying overnight.
Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7 - 8 hours
From Annapurna base camp descending to Machhapuchre base camp, Deurali, Himalayan hotel and arriving Bamboo staying overnight.
Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760 m/5770 ft): 5 - 6 hours
Spending afternoon in Jhinu Danda. Overnight stay.
Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara: 6 hours trek, 1 hour drive
We leave Jhinu Danda and enjoy the beautiful hill landscape of western Nepal on our way to Naya Pul. We have lunch on the way. We board our vehicle to Pokhara and stay there overnight.
Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu
We will fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara and rest in the hotel. In the Evening you can visit some markets in Thamel area for some shopping.
Final departure
We will escort you back to Tribhuvan International Airport from the hotel. You can exchange some photographs and goodbye. Then leave for respective destinations.
