Annapurna Panorama trek or the Annapurna view trek is a popular trek that brings you the heart of the Annapurna region. It is a short and easy fascinating trek that passes along different villages, inhabitants, ethnic groups and scenic views of Mountains like Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli. The trail leads you to crossing streams and bridges, waterfall from Mountain glaciers, forest, and farmlands and Poon hill from where magnificent sunrise views with Gurung and Magars Village.

The beauty of Fewa Lake and Annapurna Himal with their people, lifestyle and cultures starting by arriving in the beautiful city of Pokhara, the ambiance where Mountain and lakes merge to picturesque views for the trekkers. You can also do sightseeing in Pokhara visit the Devis fall, Mahendra cave, Chamere cave, and reach Sarangkot. You come to Phedi village a part of Annapurna Panorama trek and trek to Pothana where we cross the Modi Khola bridge and reach Ghandruk. It is the largest occupied by Gurung inhabitants. You get a close-up view of Annapurna and Mount Machhapuchhre in the North. From Ghandrukh we trek to Pothana and next day we trek to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara. From Pokhara, we drive to Kathmandu and make our departure with the memory of Annapurna Panorama trek.

The months of spring season (March-May) and Autumn (September-November) are the best seasons, but Blue Lake travels offer this trek throughout the year. Accommodation is plentiful and meals are offered to suit the requirement of trekkers. You will need a good pair of walking shoes, warm weather clothing, and tops for cold or rainy days plus a sleeping bag. Porters will carry your luggage and you will need a day pack for rain gear, water, and a camera.

The atmosphere for taking this trek is apt for trekkers because it takes you through dense forest, valleys, waterfalls, and lifestyle of people all on the very seat of giant mountains. MT. Annapurna from which this trek has been derived is the tenth highest mountain at an altitude of 8091meters. This is a circular trek in the foothills to enjoy sceneries of Mountain and nearby villages within a short timeframe. 5-6 hours of drive from Kathmandu will take you to Annapurna poon hill region.

The Magar people of this region are famous for craftsmanship in stone and wood. This trek is easy to moderate in difficulty. There is no risk of altitude sickness. The average walking is 4 to 6 hours. You can accompany children in this trek also the quaint tea houses are ideal for sleeping and eating. We provide porter service also to carry your luggage and experienced guide that will familiarize you with the significance of places you come across during the trekking period. You don’t require prior experience it is okay if you are a novice also. Before departure, you will also have a guided city tour to Kathmandu’s UNESCO heritage sites like Boudhanath, Patan durbar square, Hanumandhoka, Swaymbhunath.

Itinenary
Day 1

Arrive Kathmandu (1,300 m/4,264 ft)

Blue lake travel representative will meet you outside the Terminal Hall with a placard. You will be transfer to your hotel, introduced to your trekking guide and check the necessities. Overnight in Kathmandu at Hotel with bed and breakfast.

Day 2

Full day Kathmandu City excursion

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tours to world heritage sites of Pashupatinath Temple-the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of Bagmati River, Boudhanath Stupa-the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture,Patan Durbar Square is the oldest city in the Kathmandu valley with age old tradition also called Lalitpur-the city of fine arts, the Krishna temple,Swayambhunath Stupa-the 2000 years old legendary stupa, tour ends Kathmandu Durbar Square home of living goddess Kumari. Overnight in Kathmandu at Hotel with bed and breakfast.

Day 3

Drive from Kathmandu - Pokhara (910 m/2,986 ft), 5-6 hrs drive

Early morning drive by tourist bus to Pokhara through the beautiful countryside and following down steam of Trishuli River. Arrive Pokhara about 02: 00 PM and transfer to your choice of Hotel / Resort / Guest House overnight in Lakeside next to Fewa Lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 4

Pokhara– Nayapul –Tikhedhunga (1,495 m/4 ,905 ft)- Ulleri (1,950 m/6,395 ft)

After breakfast, drive along the zigzag route to Nayapul where we commence our trek to Birethani village at the confluence of the Modi and Bhurungdi Kholas (streams). We hike and then climb gradually up in Tikhedhunga. Cross suspension metal bridge and steep ascent on stone staircases to the village of Ulleri – and an amazing landscape of valley floor where we came during the day with marvelous views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. Overnight in Ulleri at Lodge.

Day 5

Ulleri - Ghorepani (2,850 m/9,350 ft), 5-6 hrs - 11km

After breakfast, our pleasant trekking begins through rhododendron and oak forests. The scenery filled walk, after a few hours and with several breaks we reach Ghorepani. Upper Ghorepani (Deurali) where we stay in this trip offers fantastic views of Dhaulagiri and the Annapurna Himalayas. Overnight in Ghorepani at Lodge.

Day 6

Hike Poon hill (3210 m/10528 ft), and trek to Tadapani (2,520 m/8268 ft), 6-7 hrs

An early morning starts the hike up to Poon hill (3210m/10530ft), the route offers a glimpse of the pleasant rhododendron forest. This brilliant viewpoint provides us an unobstructed sunrise over the high Himalayas and the wide range of panoramic scenery from the far western Himalaya of Dolpo, Mt. Dhaulagiri, and wised range of Annapurna Himalayas including Mt. Machhapuchre (Fish Tail) and all the way to Manasalu. After a great time in Poon Hill, trek back to Ghorepani, breakfast and continue trek to Tadapani. Overnight in Tadapani at Lodge.

Day 7

Tadapani - Ghandruk (1,950 m/6,398 ft), 3-4 hrs

Short and pleasant walking day through the forested and downhill path most of the way with occasional view of the Mountain leads us through the gradual path most of the trail to Ghandrunk village for the overnight stop. This is heavily settled Gurung village, a modern sample clean and modern village of Nepal and explore the surrounding area and relax at the hotel. Overnight in Ghandruk at Lodge.

Day 8

Trek Ghandruk - Pothana (1910 m/6266 ft), 5-6 hrs

The trail descends following the stone staircases to Modi Khola and crosses a suspension bridge. The trail leads upwards to Landrung village. Annapurna South, Hiuchuli and Machapuchhre (Fishtail) are clearly visible along the route. We walk to village to Tolkha. Hereafter start to ascend steadily to Deurali, will take approximately two hours. This place has a breathtaking view of Pokhara valley including Fewa Lake and presents with another spectacular Himalayan scenery of Annapurna south, right flank Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri mountain, the highest mountain in the westerner Nepal. (8167 m) Then the trail descends gradually through forested slippery red mud trail (during monsoon only) to Pothana. Overnight stay in Pothana at Lodge.

Day 9

Pothana - Phedi- Pokhara (910 m/ 2986 ft), 3-4 hrs trek and 40 min drive

Last day of the trek. It is an easy walk through the ridge about an hour with the fantastic view of right flank Annapurna range to another large village Dhampus. The trail descends down through scattered villages and paddy fields. Continue drop to Phedi (Pokhara, Baglung, Highway) Finish the trek before lunch a short drive to Pokhara (22 KM, 40 min). Overnight stay in Pokhara at 2-star Hotel.

Day 10

Pokhara - Kathmandu (1300 m /4264 ft), 5-6 hrs drive

In the morning we drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus and will be transferred to your Hotel. Free afternoon. Evening fare well-dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 11

Final Departure

After Breakfast, transfer to the international airport and fly to onward destination.
