Annapurna Circuit Trekking is one of the most popular treks for 300 km trek around the Annapurna mountain range in the Himalayas. It is considered to be the best trek though road construction is threatening its reputation and its future as a classic trek. You can explore the outstanding scenery of rivers, flora and fauna and above all mountains. We pass through four regions in Annapurna Circuit Trekking which are Lamjung, Manang, Mustang, and Myagdi. Lamjung and Myagdi are predominately Hindu with lush green subtropical valleys with villages and terraced farming. Manang and Mustang are predominately Tibetan Buddhists who are proud of their unique cultural heritage. Mustang is the last place in the world to view the ancient Bonpo Religion in action. On the way, you can see magnificent mountain scenery like Annapurna 8091m, Dhaulagiri 8167m, once the home of the legendary Buddhist guru Padmasamba, Machhapuchhre (6933m.). This trek also goes through Buddhist villages and Hindu holy sites for both Hindus and Buddhists and Braga one of the oldest monasteries in the region. We are sure that this Annapurna Circuit trek will entertain you with lots of its attracting features.

The Annapurna Circuit trek begins from the capital city Kathmandu where you will travel through the Kaligandaki River valley. On your trial, you will find many paddy fields, subtropical forests, several waterfalls, gigantic cliffs, and various villages. The most important thing is you can alone as you need the support of a guide and a porter. It is illegal if they do it without a Trekking agent who covers the legal needs for organizing a trek. Also, maps are easy to get and very experience found in either Kathmandu or Pokhara. But these maps should not be used for critical navigation as they are not very accurate. However, they are beneficial for guiding out several mountains. The route of the Annapurna Circuit Trekking passes through the mountains such as Manaslu, Langtang, Annapurna II and IV, III and Gangapurna and passing through the world’s deepest gorge in between those two 8000 plus meter peaks. There are villages with lodges and restaurants to dine and stay in along the entire route of the Annapurna Circuit Trekking. After you finished traveling here you can catch a bus to Pokhara and from Pokhara take a flight or can ride to Kathmandu which will declare the end of this exciting trek.

The 20 days Annapurna Circuit trek is designed for those people who like threatening trek of Nepal. The main trekking season is October and November. Spring is great with fewer people and summer is possible with lots of leeches. The best one is from February to May and September to December. You can further visit the Annapurna region and Annapurna Base Camp trek as per your convenient time and desire.

Beautiful Nepal

Rated 5 out of 5
February 24, 2020

I was doing Annapurna Circuit for the first time in my life and have been a bit reluctant because of the fact that at the time I wanted to start, it was offseason. It was because of this that I decided to make this tour with a guide and my choice was “Blue Lake Travel and Tours” because of a recommendation I received from my friends. I was really pleased by the way the agency handled this and moreover, I had a great guide, who was knowledgeable and did everything to accommodate me and because of his open-mindedness, we had much fun with other travelers. I would definitely recommend Blue Lake Travels for doing Trekking in the Himalaya! You‘re in good hands
