Annapurna Base Camp trekking via Tilicho Lake and Thorong La Pass would be the adventurous trip to the famous Annapurna region. The stunning view of snow-capped peaks and trail that passes through the high mountain area would be the real-time experience of adventures.

The highest lake in the world, Tilicho Lake is situated at an elevation of 4,919 meters in rough and wild area of Manang district. Tilicho is a beautiful glacial lake on the slope of Annapurna and Thorong’s Peak. The lake is sacred for Hindu pilgrims. The view from Tilicho Lake unfolds the mountain view of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Tilicho peak and many others. It has a beautiful gorge made of river. The astonishing rocky mountain pass, Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) would be the trip highlights. The pass connects the Manang with Mustang district. The pass is the highest point on the Annapurna Circuit.

We leave from Kathmandu valley to Pokhara then drive to Bulbule. Our walking trail starts from Bulbule and cross several local settlements, passes through beautiful forests of Rhododendron and blue pines. We will be able to capture the movements of wild animals like Red Panda, Himalayan Thar, Wolves, and can hear the tweet of beautiful birds.

How difficult is Annapurna Base Camp Trekking?

The difficulty level to Annapurna Base Camp trekking is moderately difficult. One should have to cross High pass and climb through rocky and snowy path. The trekking trail takes to the elevation above 5,000 meters. The climate would be unpredictable and the wind blows all day and night. Although, no need to be worried about it. We have experienced and well-trained guide along with you. If you don’t have any prior experience of high mountain climbing, it would be a glorious trip for you.

Which season is the best time to trek Annapurna Base Camp?

The best time to trek ABC through Tilicho Lake is spring and autumn. From the month of late February to May and September to November would be the perfect time. In summer, rainfall occurs mostly.

Itinenary
Day 1

Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

You will be received by our representative officer at airport and taken to our hotel. We will offer you welcome dinner and overnight at hotel in Kathmandu(b/b).

Day 2

Kathmandu Sightseeing day

On this day you will be seeing UNESCO Heritage places and a guided city tour in Kathmandu(o/n stay at Kathmandu)

Day 3

Drive to Beshisahar and by local jeep to Bulbule

We will start in morning after breakfast we drive to Beshisahar to Bulbule(o/n stay)

Day 4

Trek to Jagat, 5/6 hours walk

We start our trek from Bulbule to Jagat. Our first day of trekking would be for 6 hours to reach beautiful village of Jagat.

Day 5

Trek to Dharapani, 5/6 hours walk

From Jagat, we trek to Dharapani and stay o/n.

Day 6

Trek to Chame (2,670 m.), 5/6 hours walk

From Dharapani we trek to Chame where we spend overnight.

Day 7

Trek to Pisang (3,200 m.), 5/6 hours walk

From Chame, we trek to Pisang (overnight at the lodge).

Day 8

Trek to Manang (3,540 m.), 5/6 hours walk

From Pisang, we trek to Manang the base of the Annapurna Mountain region.

Day 9

Rest day at Manang village

We rest and sightseeing at Manang village. O/N stay at the lodge.

Day 10

Trek to Khangsar (3,734 m.), 3/4 hours walk

From Manang, we trek to Khangsar where we spend o/n.

Day 11

Trek to Tilicho Base camp (4,140 m.), 5/6 hours walk

From Khangsar we move to Tilicho base camp and up to Tilicho Lake and back to Tilicho base camp.

Day 12

Trek to Yak Kharka (3,900 M / 6 Hours)

After the Tilcho base camp, we move ahead to Yak Kharka.

Day 13

Trek to Thorung Phedi (4,450 M / 5 Hours)

From Yak Kharka we move to Thorung Phedi.

Day 14

Cross Thorong La (5,416 M) and trek down to Muktinath (3,780M / 9 Hours)

Finally, we cross the Thorong La the longest pass.

Day 15

Trek to Jomsom (2,720 M / 6 Hours)

After Thorong La pass we trek to Jomsom.

Day 16

Fly to Pokhara, visit around Pokhara (8,20 M / 30 Minutes Flight)

From Jomsom airport, we fly to Pokhara and stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 17

Drive back to Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel (1310M or 4,297FT / 7 Hours Drive)

Our trek has come to end. We drive back to Kathmandu and stay overnight at hotel

Day 18

Departure from Kathmandu

Drop you at Tribhuvan International airport for going back home or alternative destination.
