The topography of Nepal is stretched from the low land of the Terai to the high mountains. The southern part of Nepal provides a wholly different experience than that of the Himalayan region to the visitors.  Chitwan which is located in South-Central Nepal bordering with India is the best place to go to enjoy the beauty of the Terai. Chitwan is the most popular Jungle safari destination of Nepal which boasts of more than 43 species of animals. Chitwan is famous for the Royal Chitwan National Park (932sq km) which is the home to some endangered wildlife species. The Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal which was established in 1973. The park boasts diverse forests and grasslands which offers a great wildlife experience with its rich flora and fauna to the visitors. Chitwan national park is famous for the rare one horn rhino and gharial. In this park, you also see wildlife such as the swamp deer, musk deer, blue bull, blackbuck, the royal Bengal tiger, and crocodile as well as the wild buffalo. You can also see the variety of birds like babbles and orioles, Koels and Drongos, peacocks and floricans, etc.

Chitwan National Park is the best park in Nepal to observe and experience the wildlife in their natural state. It was the Royal hunting grounds for the Kings and dignitaries of Nepal in the past. In Chitwan, you can have the unique experience of wildlife safari enjoying the sights of wild lives in the natural habitats – natural water, deep forest, and rich grasslands. You can go for three different jungle safari- the elephant safari, jeep safari, as well as the on-foot safari. You will be guided by experienced and loyal guards to ensure your satisfaction and security during the Jungle safari. You also enjoy the canoeing in the Rapti and Narayani River. In the Chitwan tour, you also visit the ethnic village of the Chepang people which is the endangered ethnic group of Nepal. It is located near the National park. In the village, you also visit the Chepang museum and it gives a chance to explore their unique culture, tradition, and lifestyle. In Chitwan, you also visit the Tharu community, the ethnic groups of Nepal. You can have insight into their lifestyle and the culture as well as enjoy their culture and tradition. To approach the Chitwan you can take a tourist bus or take a flight from Kathmandu.

I am truly mesmerized by the beautiful sceneries of Nepal. My wife and I visited Chitwan. It was truly an unforgettable moment in Chitwan which had so many sites to visit.
