Annapurna base camp with Tilicho Lake is a trek designed to take you to Annapurna region to the Tilicho lake through the longest pass in the World called Throungla pass. Tilicho is a beautiful glacial lake on the slope of Annapurna and Thorang peak.Tilicho lake is the highest lake in the world at altitude of 4949m. It is sacred for Hindu pilgrims. The view from Tilicho lake unfolds the mountain view of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Tilicho peak. It has a beautiful gorge made of river. This region is also known as Marshyangdi valley with Manaslu and Hiunchuli in the east. The starting point of Annapurna base camp with Tilicho lake starts from Beshisahar. From here you trek along the Marshyangdi river we will skirt Tilicho lake from North and trek to Yak Kharka and Thorung Phedi and stay overnight at Lodge. From Thorung phedi we trek to Muktinath through Throungla pass. From here we reach Jomsom and dry to Tatopani and stay overnight in a lodge.

From there we catch a flight to Pokhara where we stay overnight in a hotel.Next day we fly back to Kathmandu and this is the end of our Annapurna base camp with Tilicho lake trek. This trek is significant because it is inspired by nature and mountains in Nepal. Many tourist have trekked in Annapurna region towards the Tilicho lake. During this trek you will be staying at fabulous resort and hotel enjoying the authentic Nepalese food and continental cuisine served from tea house or lodge menu. Since 6 hours of walking is essential for this trek it is necessary that you stay in good physical shape. You must be mentally prepared also with positive attitude and determination. However, you don’t need any technical skills you are advised to consult a doctor for a regular health checkup before embarking on this trek. The best time for taking this trek is during Autumn (September to November) and in Spring ( March to May).

During winter the temperature is harsh and in monsoon it is affected by rain.The experience is truly unbeatable when you are standing in front of stunning lake and seeing the snowy landscapes. You will also spend a day at Tilicho base camp which is just below the Tilicho lake. Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel


Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing day

On this day you will be seeing UNESCO Heritage places and a guided city tour in Kathmandu(o/n stay at Kathamdnu)

Day 03: Drive to Beshisahar and By local jeep to Bulbule.

We will start in morning after breakfast we drive to Beshisahar to Bulbule(o/n stay)

Day 04: Trek to Jagat, 5/6 hours walk.

We start our trek from Bulbule to Jagat.

Day 05: Trek to Dharapani, 5/6 hours walk.

From Jagat we trek to Dharapani and stay o/n

Day 06: Trek to Chame (2670m.), 5/6 hours walk.

From Dharapani we trek to Chame where we spend overnight

Day 07: Trek to Pisang (3200m.), 5/6 hours walk.

From Chame we trek to Pisang (overnight at lodge)

Day 08: Trek to Manang (3540m.), 5/6 hours walk.

From Pisang we trek to Manang the base of Annapurna Mountain region.

Day 09: Rest day at Manang village

We rest and sight seeing at Manang village.O/N stay at lodge.

Day 10: Trek to Khangsar (3734m.), 3/4 hours walk.

From Manang we trek to Khangsar where we spend o/n

Day 11: Trek to Tilicho Base camp (4140m.), 5/6 hours walk.

From Kahangsar we move to Tilicho base camp and upto Tilicho lake and back to Tilicho base camp.

Day 12: Trek to Yak Kharka (3,900M / 6 Hours)

After Tilcho base camp we move ahead to Yak kharka.

Day 13: Trek to ThorungPhedi (4,450M / 5 Hours)

From Yak kharka we move to Thorongphedi

Day 14: Cross Thorong La (5,416M) and trek down to Muktinath (3,780M / 9 Hours)

Finall we cross the Thorong La the longest pass.

Day 15: Trek to Jomsom (2,720M / 6 Hours)

After Thorong La pass we trek to Jomsom

Day 16: Fly to Pokhara, visit around Pokhara (820M / 30 Minutes Flight)

From Jomsom airport we fly to Pokhara and stay overnight in hotel

Day 17: Drive back to Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel (1310M or 4,297FT / 7 Hours Drive)

Our trek has come to end. We drive back to Kathmandu and stay overnight at hotel

Day 18: Departure from Kathmandu

Drop you at Tribhuvan International airport for going back home or alternative destination.
