Api Himal lies in the far western part of Nepal and considered as the highest mountain of this region. Api Himal Base Camp trekking is the remote and less traded area undamaged by the mass trekkers which receives few trekkers in a year. The trail to the base camp of Api himal offers the real wilderness of the Nature to the trekkers. It also offers lovely forests, high passes, remote villages and various cultures as well as beautiful vistas of the snow capped mountains like Mt. Api Himal (7132m.), Nandadevi (7,817m.), which lies in Uttar Pradesh of India, Thado Dhunga Tuppa (5,368m.), Rajamba (6,537m.), Kapchuli which is also known as Jethibahurani and many other peaks. The beautiful landscape, cultural diversity, swift flowing rivers, pristine forests are some of the remarkable features of this region which every trekker enjoys. Once you reach the base camp of the Api Himal you can also hike about one and half hours to the lake called Kalidhunga, which is the holy lake of this area.

Though Api Himalaya region offers different adventurous activities including trekking, it is still the hidden site and not very famous among the international trekkers. This region has extreme geographical condition with the altitude fluctuating between 1524m and 7337m.This region is also famous for bird watching. During the Api Himal base camp trek you can find the joint communities of the Hindu and Buddhist who still follow their ancient culture and tradition and their occupation is agriculture. The inhabitants of this place are Chhetri, Mahara, Bohara, Thaekare, Jhakari and Lohar. You can also encounter the nomadic people like Raute in this region. Api himal trek is restricted trekking area in the sense that you have to take special permit from the government. Api Himal base camp trek is the camping treks but there are no camping site and we have to manage the camp. You can venture in this trek during autumn and spring season.

Day 05: Trek Chiureni (1100m.)

Day 06: Trek MakariGhat (1800m.)

Day 07: Trek Seti (3000m.)

Day 08: Trek Bayaligad (3400m.)

Day 09: Trek Simar (3600m.)

Day 10: Trek Dhawaliwadar (3800m.)

Day 11: Trek Base camp (4000m.)

Day 12: Trek Saheb Bagar (2800m.)

Day 13: Trek Makarighat (1800m.)

Day 14: Trek Bitulechaur (1200m.)

Day 15: Trek Gokuleshwor (850m.)

Day 16: Drive back to Mahendranagar or you can use helicopter also
